All is well here on East 2. Unfortunately, a few of our guys aren't returning to the hall this semester, which is quite saddening. We do however have a couple of people moving on to our hall, which is cool. Not much to say as it has been a fairly lazy morning.

So, remember how I was complaining about the warm weather? An official temperature reading (by Aubrey) tells me that it was 66 degrees a few days ago. Yesterday, it was 3 degrees with 35 mph winds. It's wicked cold outside. The doors to my friend's car were frozen shut. I am beginning to regret not doing the polar bear when it was a little warmer...

So I hear that they found a tenth planet in our solar system. Aren't they a little late? For years I thought that our technology was insanely advanced and that they had a fairly good grasp of space. I mean, they have been exploring galaxies and galaxies away, and have seen billions and billions of stars, gazillions really. Now, all of a sudden, we find another planet in our own solar system. I mean, give me a break. It just goes to prove that we know nothing. Absolutely nothing! We think that we are scientifically advanced and super smart and everything, but I guess not. Oh well.  whatever.

Man, I love vacation. It's so great to be at home with the fam. I got to hang out with one of my best friends for a few days too. Grant, his brother Greg, and I were hanging out at their house. We shot each other with Airsoft guns, though up some ideas for movies, watched Paycheck, had a couple of lightsaber battles, played Halo 2, and ate fudge. Yeah, it was sweet. Wicked sweet to be precise. I've been snowboarding at my local mountain a lot. I'm a snowboard instructor at Ascutney. I don't get too much work though. They don't want me teaching any of the school groups because I can't stay for the full six weeks. That means that I get to ride the mountain for free during my off time. We has a heat wave or something last night. It was actually raining. In January!! I couldn't believe it. It was actually above 32 degrees. I have to admit, I'm a little late doing the polar bear this year. We were supposed to do it on Jan. 1st, but it was a Sunday. I have wanted to do it a few times since then, but no one want to participate. My dad says he'll go in with me, but I have to wait a few days. I'll post some pics afterwords so you guys can have an idea of what it's like.
